Cape Kiwanda Couples Session | Meagan + Chris

This Cape Kiwanda Couples session was honestly a dream come true for me! Oregon (and anywhere in the Pacific Northwest) is my favorite place in the world and I have so many photography bucket list locations out there.

My husband Colton and I decided to take a trip up North for my birthday to visit some friends in Portland. I ended up scheduling this shoot and one other during our time out there and I am so glad I did!

We road-tripped around the state to sight see and Cape Kiwanda was one of our first stops. We got there early to explore the beach and I was so amazed by the beauty. The way the light hits on the coast in the Northwest is honestly so different than Southern California beaches! It’s so much softer and so golden. There is also a massive sand dune that definitely gave us a leg work out, but we had to climb to the top for a view. It did not dissapoint.

Meagan wore the most beautiful orange dress that popped so well against the ocean background. I also love how you can see the fog roll in as this session progresses and it was absolutely insane! It was mesmerizing to watch it slowly encompass the giant rock formations.
