Palm Springs Engagement Session | San Diego Wedding Photographer

This Palm Springs engagement session was so much fun and so different from most of my shoots and I LOVED it. I am always looking to shoot in new places and since San Diego is only a couple of hours from Palm Springs, it had been on my photography bucket list for quite some time!

Mackenzie and Gehrig are two really good friends on mine and when they got engaged I was ecstatic! I am always so grateful when friends and family trust me to take photos for them that hold so much meaning. Mackenzie and I went back and forth for a while trying to decide on a location in Palm Springs, but in the end we couldn’t pick just one. She mentioned to me she just wanted lots of palm trees (easy to find in Palm Springs) and I was free to take them wherever I wanted to shoot! Every photographer loves hearing those words haha.

We began the session in a residential neighborhood that was lined with the most beautiful palm trees and the coolest mid-century modern homes! If you’ve never taken a drive through the neighborhoods there, I definitely recommend it! It’s a dream of mine to own a home out there one day.

Our second location was a secluded field with some incredible mountains in the background. If you look closely, you can see the windmills in the distance which is another incredible place to shoot out there! We were lucky enough to have an incredible, pink sunset to end the evening with some blue hour photos- my favorite!
