This San Diego courthouse wedding at The Marriage Hut near Waterfront Park was long awaited by Maddy, Jordan and their families! After a year of changing plans and guessing if the big celebration they dreamed of would be able to take place, they finally decided that they didn’t want to wait any longer to say their “I do’s.”
Maddy and Jordan (and these photos) are living proof that courthouse weddings do not have to be boring!! We are so lucky to have such a gorgeous county administration building in San Diego. Not only is the property itself beautiful and covered with the most stunning tropical plant life, but it is only a short walk to Waterfront Park and the harbor.
These two share the deepest love for each other and it is so evident in these photos. The day started with the sweetest first look between bride and groom and there was not a dry eye in the house! Afterwards, we headed to The Marriage Hut, where their ceremony took place. Their families were able to witness them speak their vows and seal it with a kiss!
After soaking in the joyful moment with their group, I stole Maddy and Jordan away for some fun romantic portraits around the property. I of course had to capture the details of Maddy’s customized jean jacket, her beautiful floral bouquet and the epicness of the towering building in the background. Not to mention the vibrant flower wall that I just couldn’t pass up placing them in front of!
If you’re interested in a San Diego courthouse wedding, this beautiful day can serve as the perfect inspiration!
