Julian, CA Engagement Session | San Diego Wedding Photographer

This Julian, CA engagement session with Lisandra and Jason was such an amazing evening! It was the perfect day by Lake Cuyamaca with gorgeous weather, a beautiful sunset and just the right amount of wind for some epic romantic shots! Lisandra wore not one, but two gorgeous dresses from Lulu’s and they fit right in with the stunning backdrop. I loved this location so much because, even though we are smack dab in the middle of summer, we were able to find both lush, green areas and sun-kissed golden fields.

They brought their incredibly sweet dog, Lua, along to the shoot and even bought her the cutest flower collar from Etsy! Little details like this always add the sweetest touch and I encourage it. They also showed up well equipped with squeaky toys and doggy treats. My husband stood behind me with them to get her attention and it worked like magic! If you know me, you know I am all for the pups coming along to shoots and I definitely recommend this technique if you choose to bring your fur-baby.

Lisandra and Jason have the sweetest connection and I am so happy for them as they embark on their new journey to marriage! Congratulations you two!
