This El Monte Park wedding included a bagpipe player, a Celtic hand-fasting ceremony, and knights in shining armor!
In the days leading up to Rachel and Jakes long awaited wedding day, they learned that a renaissance fair would be taking place at the same park, only feet from their event. These two were so chill and ready to say “I do” that they didn’t even bat an eye! Luckily, the event kept to their side of the park. However, we definitely enjoyed watching them joust and sword fight. Some of the knights were even kind of enough to take a few portraits with the bride and groom. We were all so excited!
Rachel and Jake incorporated some very unique details in their day, including a hand-fasting ceremony. They stood under a giant oak tree, vowed their love to each other and participated in the tradition. There is nothing I love more than when a couple tailors their day to be special in their own personal way.
Rachel wore the most stunning bohemian wedding dress and their bridesmaid dresses were the perfect burnt orange and rust color that I love! They also had an incredible floral installation attached to their ceremony tree, and their reception had so much unique fall decor. Specifically, the colorful and oddly shaped pumpkins were such a nice touch!
I loved this unique El Monte Park wedding so much and feel so grateful to witness these love birds tie the knot- literally!
