Balboa Park Engagement | Andrea + Will

You can never go wrong with a Balboa Park engagement session and I think this gallery is proof of that.

Andrea and Will mentioned that this was one of the first places they explored together as San Diego residents so it was only fitting that they host their engagement photos there! I absolutely love it when couples pick a location with significance because it truly makes those photos so much more meaningful to look back on in the future.

These two also mentioned how “awkward” they would be in front of the camera and then THIS happened! It’s so clear how happy they make each other and their love is so evident in every photo. They also nailed their outfit choices and I thought the colors complemented the setting so perfectly.

We walked, talked, and shot until the sun disappeared. I always love getting to know couples during their engagement session because it makes me even more excited to watch them tie the knot. I get so invested in everyone I work with and I can’t wait for Andrea and Will’s wedding this fall! I already know it is going to be an absolutely stunning day filled with so much joy.

It is so difficult for me to pick a favorite spot within Balboa because every little corner has something beautiful about it. I shoot here often and when I walk around with couples I always *think* I have a game plan until I spot something new. Every pocket of this park has incredible architecture, lush gardens, and gorgeous glowing light.
